An advertisement for Watercolors Shampoo with branding and packaging description. The image shows a bottle of Watercolors Shampoo labeled 'Black Coffee' with colorful paint splashes on the label. The text highlights that the shampoo maintains dark tones and is for branding and packaging purposes, mentioning no flexibility for expansion.

The Challenge

The product itself was doing the hard work. Stylists trusted it. Clients loved the results. But sales were flattening, new buyers weren’t engaging, and the packaging didn’t reflect how customizable or professional the product truly was. Even more limiting, the existing brand system couldn’t support future growth. The brand needed a visual structure that could evolve, not just a one-off refresh.

The Outcome

I created a new brand system that transformed the shampoo from a single product into a scalable platform. The adaptable logo and color-driven identity made the customization story instantly clear while creating a cohesive look across every SKU. Not only did it communicate the unique color changing feature of the shampoo product but also adapted seamlessly into all extension product lines. The line grew into a full suite of shampoos, conditioners, root color sprays, and support products.
